Just arrived!

Wow it has been about 24 hours since we left Dulles and now Mark and I are in our hotel in Tokyo. I am running on nervous energy at this point and ready to crash, but....so far it has been amazing! even the flight was bearable. American does a very nice job. We then got our rail passes and headed to the  Tokyo neighborhood of Ikebakura and the beautiful Hotel Metropolitan.  But the highlight was meeting Rik and Mai at the train station.  Even though we skype pretty regularly, being with him here is the highlight of this whole trip.  There will be plenty of pictures to follow but first sleep! Looking forward to tomorrow a day trip to the beach and then meeting Noah and AJ.  More to follow..
